Buju Banton is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist, born Mark Anthony Myrie, who rose to fame in the early 1990s. Known for his deep, gravelly voice and socially conscious lyrics, he is one of the most influential figures in Caribbean music. His album "Til Shiloh" (1995) is considered a classic of the genre.
