DNCE is an American pop-funk band formed in 2015 by Joe Jonas, alongside guitarist JinJoo Lee, bassist Cole Whittle, and drummer Jack Lawless. The group is best known for their debut single "Cake by the Ocean," a danceable pop-funk hit that reached the top 10 in multiple countries. Their self-titled EP and debut album established their upbeat, groove-driven sound.
