Foster The People is an American indie pop and alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in the late 2000s. Known for their catchy, synth-driven sound, they broke through with the hit "Pumped Up Kicks" from their 2011 debut album Torches. The band is fronted by singer-songwriter Mark Foster.
