Gladys Knight & The Pips were an American R&B and soul group formed in Atlanta, Georgia in the 1950s. Led by vocalist Gladys Knight alongside her brother and cousins, the group became known for their smooth harmonies and emotional delivery. Their signature hit "Midnight Train to Georgia" won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song in 1974.
