Howard Carter

Howard Carter (1874–1939) was a British archaeologist and Egyptologist best known for discovering the nearly intact tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Egypt's Valley of the Kings in 1922. The find, made after years of excavation funded by Lord Carnarvon, is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in history.
