Paul Banks is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the New York post-punk revival band Interpol. His deep baritone voice and brooding lyrical style became a defining element of Interpol's sound, notably on their acclaimed 2002 debut album Turn on the Bright Lights.
