Special EFX is an American contemporary jazz group founded by guitarist Chieli Minucci and percussionist George Jinda in the early 1980s. Known for their smooth, fusion-oriented sound blending jazz, pop, and world music influences, they released their debut album in 1984 and have remained active in the smooth jazz scene for decades.
