The Bird and the Bee is an American indie pop duo formed in Los Angeles, consisting of singer Inara George and Grammy-winning producer/multi-instrumentalist Greg Kurstin. Known for their lush, retro-tinged sound blending pop, jazz, and electronic elements, they released their self-titled debut in 2007. The duo also recorded a well-received tribute album to Hall & Oates, Interpreting the Masters Volume 1.
