The Gourds were an Austin, Texas-based roots rock band active from the early 1990s until 2013. Known for blending country, folk, and Americana with irreverent humor, they built a devoted following through relentless touring. They are perhaps best known for their unexpected bluegrass-style cover of Snoop Dogg's "Gin and Juice."
