The Supremes were an American vocal group formed in Detroit in 1959 and one of Motown Records' most successful acts. Originally led by Diana Ross, the trio became icons of 1960s pop and R&B with a string of number-one hits including "Stop! In the Name of Love" and "Baby Love."
