Wavves is an American indie/lo-fi rock band formed in San Diego, California around 2008, led by Nathan Williams. Known for their fuzzy, distorted guitar sound blending surf rock, punk, and pop sensibilities, they gained wide attention with their 2010 album "King of the Beach."
