Lowell Observatory is a historic astronomical research facility founded in 1894 in Flagstaff, Arizona. It is best known as the site where Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto in 1930. Today it hosts public programs, telescope viewings, and its Worlds Revealed speaker series.
