Maria Bamford is an American stand-up comedian known for her deeply personal, experimental style tackling mental illness and family dynamics. She starred in the semi-autobiographical Netflix series Lady Dynamite and has released three hour-long specials, including Old Baby and Weakness is the Brand. She was the first female comic to have two half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials.
