Nick Thune

Nick Thune is an actor, comedian, and writer known for his deadpan delivery and absurdist storytelling. He built his profile through ten appearances on The Tonight Show alongside spots on Conan and Late Night, then went on to tour internationally and headline festivals including Montreal's Just for Laughs, SXSW, Bonnaroo, and Melbourne International.

Thune has released three stand-up specials — Folk Hero (Netflix), Good Guy (Amazon), and Born Young, which premiered on Nate Bargatze's Nateland YouTube channel — with material that blends one-liners, personal storytelling, and guitar. On screen, his credits include Knocked Up, Marvel's Venom, and Dave Made a Maze, with TV appearances on HBO Max's Love Life, Hulu's How I Met Your Father, ABC's Not Dead Yet, Grand Crew, and voice work on American Dad!. His short film "BDAY Private Dick" with John C. Reilly premiered at the 2025 Palm Springs Film Festival. He is also developing a podcast titled How to Be a Single Parent with Mary Lynn Rajskub and Nick Turner.

Thursday, Friday late, and Sunday shows are 18+; all other shows are 21+. A two-drink minimum per person applies inside the showroom, and a valid photo ID is required for entry. Seating is first come, first served unless you reserve a table; contact the box office or email info@tempeimprov.com to upgrade to a table reservation. Groups of 20 or more are eligible for food and beverage packages with guaranteed reserved seating.
