The Giovale Open Deck Observatory (GODO) is a public stargazing plaza at Lowell Observatory on Mars Hill in Flagstaff, opened in 2019. It features six advanced telescopes ranging from 5.5 to 32 inches in diameter for viewing planets, star fields, nebulae, and galaxies under Flagstaff's famously dark skies. Daytime exhibits cover spectroscopy, telescope types, and dark-sky preservation, while evening "Meet an Astronomer" programs offer guided celestial tours.
