Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day and Abilities Expo

A variety of adaptive sports will be featured at the annual Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day event at the Sparks Marina on Sunday, May 31st. This special event wouldn't be possible without the help of Nell J. Redfield Foundation, Northern Nevada Center For Independent Living (NNCIL), and City of Reno Parks Recreation and Community Services.

People with disabilities and their friends and families are invited to try out hand-cycling, kayaking, and rock climbing through the use of a broad range of adaptive equipment. The free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 31st on the Marina peninsula.
