Comedy Cellar (Las Vegas)

The Comedy Cellar at Rio Las Vegas is the West Coast outpost of the iconic New York City comedy club, opened in 2018 as a 300-seat venue at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino (3700 W Flamingo Rd). Owned and operated by the same team behind the original NYC club, it was built as an exact replica and books the same caliber of talent. The showcase format features five headliner-level comics performing 15–20 minute sets per show — rather than a single headliner — giving audiences a wide variety of top-tier comedy in one evening. Two shows run nightly at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. The May 20, 2026 9:30 PM lineup includes Mark Cohen (from "Louie," "The Sarah Silverman Program," Comedy Central), Cookie Hull, Greer Barnes, Rich Vos, and Gary Cannon. The club has premiered stars such as Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle, and Chris Rock, and surprise drop-in appearances by comedy superstars performing elsewhere on the Strip are possible. Food and drinks — shareables, bites, and cocktails — are served nightly. Admission is 18+ with a valid government-issued photo ID.
