Titanic - the Artifact Exhibition

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas

Description was written before the event

TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition is a permanent, daily exhibition located on the Atrium Level (second floor) of the Luxor Hotel & Casino at 3900 S Las Vegas Blvd. It is operated by RMS Titanic Inc., the only company legally authorized to recover artifacts from the ocean floor, which has led nine expeditions and brought more than 5,500 artifacts to light. The Las Vegas exhibition displays over 350 genuine artifacts recovered from the wrecksite — including jewelry, china, luggage, ship's whistles, floor tiles, and an unopened bottle of Champagne — along with full-scale re-creations of iconic spaces: the Grand Staircase, Promenade Deck, First-Class Cabin, and Third-Class Cabin. The centerpiece is the "Big Piece," a 15-ton section of Titanic's original starboard hull recovered during the 1998 expedition, which underwent 18 months of desalination conservation. Visitors also encounter a nine-foot-high refrigerated ice wall and a Promenade Deck set to the chilling temperatures of that fateful April night. Each guest receives a replica boarding pass assigned to a real Titanic passenger, and can discover their fate at the end of the tour. The exhibition is self-guided; most guests spend 60–90 minutes. Optional add-ons include an audio guide, weekend guided tours with an Artifact Specialist (additional $10), a kids' guided tour ("The Cat, The Bear & The Boat"), and a seated Virtual Reality experience placing guests aboard the ship in 1912. A gift shop and souvenir photo service are available on-site. Non-flash photography is permitted in most areas; videography is not permitted.
