Cirque du Soleil : "O"
'O' Theatre at Bellagio Las Vegas, Las Vegas
Cirque du Soleil's "O" is a resident aquatic spectacular at the 'O' Theatre inside Bellagio Las Vegas, where it has performed continuously since opening on October 15, 1998 — welcoming over 20 million spectators to date. The show follows a young boy named Philemon as he ventures into a surreal world guided by the enigmatic Le Vieux, weaving together synchronized swimmers, divers, acrobats, and whimsical characters to portray the beauty, danger, and mystery of water. Performances take place in, on, and above a custom-built pool that is 25 feet deep, holds 17 feet of water, and contains 1.5 million gallons in total. The production features 75 artists — including eight Olympians (seven artistic swimmers and one diver) — supported by 130 technicians and 14 scuba divers working behind the scenes during every show. Live music and vocals weave a dreamlike narrative, blending fire, fluid movement, and gravity-defying stunts into a seamless, cinematic experience with no intermission. The show runs 90 minutes. Flash photography and filming of any kind are strictly prohibited for the safety of performers; personal cellphones and pocket-sized cameras are permitted. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but a concessions stand is available at the theatre entrance. Valet parking is available via the North Valet (nearest to the "O" theatre) and the Main Valet at Bellagio's main entrance.
