Concept Integration in Comparative Law Interest Group Meeting

ICON-S Annual Conference, Dublin, Ireland — University of Texas at Austin, Austin

This event will take place on a date and time yet to be determined between June 29 and July 1, 2026, as part of the ICON-S Annual Conference in Dublin, Ireland.

The ICON-S Concept Integration in Comparative Law Interest Group brings together scholars interested in the systematic comparison, integration, and application of concepts in comparative law. Its goals are to maintain a community for scholars from diverse fields and regions, convene collaborative meetings for presenting research and sharing data, methods, and best practices, and build a public repository of comparative law concepts to support concept integration across research groups worldwide.

At this year's conference, conveners will present the new Sartori.network platform and other open-source digital tools designed to help researchers map the conceptual landscape of law and political science, compare new topics to established conceptual frameworks, and analyze topics across laws, court rulings, and constitutions. Attendees are invited to share their own research and ideas at the meeting.

Conveners: Zachary Elkins and Ashley Moran (University of Texas at Austin).
