About the venue

The Alamodome is a 64,000-seat domed multi-purpose stadium opened in 1993 on the southeastern edge of downtown San Antonio, Texas. Owned and operated by the City of San Antonio, it hosts football (UTSA Roadrunners, San Antonio Brahmas, annual Alamo Bowl), NCAA tournaments, major concerts, trade shows, and conventions. It was the home of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs from 1993 to 2002.
